I understand your concern.
It is possible to conceive when you have conditions such as
hypothyroidism and
asthenozoospermia.
However, you need to be treated adequately so as to maintain normal thyroid hormone levels continuously, which would give you a fair chance to conceive.
Asthenozoospermia is the medical term for 'decreased sperm motility'. It decreases the sperm quality and is therefore one of the major causes of infertility or reduced fertility in men.
In such instance, your husband can take medications containing L-carnitine,
alpha lipoic acid, CoQ10, Lecithin, Vitamin E, Selenium and Zinc for a month, as these substances act as nutrient and antioxidant for the sperms.
He needs to repeat
semen analysis after 3 months to know for the improvement.
Kindly
consult Infertility specialist with the report for appropriate management.
Depending on the response of both, you may have to plan for assisted techniques like invitro-fertilization (IVF).
