Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of being a male of 66 underwent single balloon enteroscopy in Medanta Hospital, found ulcer with eosinophils at the ileo-cecal area, IBD ruled out, may be Crohn's, given mesalamine, multivitamins, iron, calshell low fiber diet and colonoscopy done recently, found diverticuli in cecum and sigmoid colon. You have pain in the upper left abdomen, loose motions,
capsule endoscopy was done for
blood in stool.
Your case looks to be a case of
diverticulosis with ulcerative lesions in the
terminal ileum and the diagnosis is still not certain why the pain and other symptoms.
You may please go for the tests of stool for days, tests of blood and urine, CT scan will help further to find or rule out any other diseases or so, hence should be done.
This may be due to IBS with colitis and added on by the diagnosis we discussed about.
Continue the medications.
I think a course of an antibiotic,
metronidazole, probiotic may help to change the scenario.
