Is Colonoscopy Advisable For A Person Having Helicobacter Pylori?

I had an endoscopy which tested positive for the helicobacter pylori with normal stomach and duodenum. My dr has me scheduled for a colonoscopy next week. I really do not want to have it as the original investigation/endoscopy was to see if I have c0eliac disease ? I do not have any unnecessary procedures given the risk?

Hello dear
Understand your concern.
If you have symptoms like blood in stool, bloody diarrhea, abdominal pain, irregular bowel movements.
For safer side better to for colonoscopy.
Because all this gastrointestinal disease are easily treated if you diagnosed earlier.
So i think you should go for colonoscopy.

So go ahead.
Hope this may help you
