Is Colon Cancer Possible After Bowel Organs' Removal And Corrective Intestine Surgery?

My son at the age of 25 was diagnosed with colon rectal cancer , he had a complete removal of all bowel organs, about 8 years later he had a twisted intestine and had surgery to c orrect that problem. Now another 9 years later he is in the hospital with a bowel rests, his cancer was stage 3, I have read that it could be another obstruction or smaller cancer cells blocking off the colon. please tell me what you think

Hi

After hearing your history i would advise you to do CT scan of whole abdomen.

Also you need to check blood for CEA.

These 2 tests are necessary for ruling out whether the colo rectal cancer has spread to stage 4
