Hi,

Since you have a history of biliary atresia you need to avoid alcohol.

Alcohol consumption will trigger liver problems & affect the common bile duct resulting in cholangitis, infection & blockage of the biliary system.

Avoid alcohol & addictions if any. Follow a healthy lifestyle, stay away from oily junk food. Take fruits, veggies, berries. Exercise regularly. Take care.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
