Hello

Left sided chest pain may be due to many reasons like cardiopulmonary causes, acidity, musculoskeletal causes etc.
Your husband may need clinical correlation and few investigations.
He may need routine hemogram, random blood sugar, liver and renal function test, upper GI endoscopy,ECHO,TMT,ultrasound of abdomen.
He may need diet and life style modification due to elevated cholesterol. It is important to know complete lipid profile.
He may need hypolipidemic drugs if findings persists.
Proper treatment depend upon findings.

Take Care
