Is Burning Sensation On The Tongue A Couple Of Weeks After Oral Sex A Sign Of Herpes?

Hello I have acid reflux. But two weeks ago I went down on a girl. I didnt see anything on her but a few days later my tongue and month felt weird now its been burning for two weeks. No lesions or fever or anything. How likely is this herpes? Its been two weeks. My mouth i also really dry and so is my nose.

HIV AIDS Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Just with one or two symptoms alone (burning sensation over tongue and a dry mouth), one cannot diagnose any disease. Glossitis or stomatitis of various reasons including infection with bacteria, virus fungus or any type of irritation or avitaminosis can produce same type of discomfort. Direct examination and investigations will throw more light on the diagnosis.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
