Hello,

I evaluated your query thoroughly. Your narration is not a sign for hernia. Hernia is a bridge in the continuity of inner layers of body giving rise to protrusion of internal organs outside. There are different regions in the body where you can have hernias as epigastric, umbilical, paraumbilical, inguinal, femoral, and lumbar. Confirmation can be done by clinical examination and/or ultrasound examination of the region.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
