Is Blood Thinning Medication Safe After Heart Surgery?

Hi my brother has had heart surgery recently with a metal valve replacement, hes also had bleedin on tge brain with led.to a stroke and he had to get part of his skull removed. He is on medifation to thin his blood. im wondering if.it is safe for him to.do sunbeds??

Blood thinners are double edged sword . One side they thin the blood and give protection to heart while other side they increase the risk of bleeding .

Whether to use or stop depends on the risk of bleeding and risk of getting heart attack . in metal value replacement he needs to be on Blood thinner else blood may clot over the metal value . But there is always a risk of Bleeding .

Let me know what kind of blood thinners he is on as there are now very safe blood thinner available .
