I have recently been taking my blood pressure and I have noticed it increasing from 110/70 (normally) to 127/97. I have been taking it at varied times of the day and it seems to be staying in the same range. My mother had high bp and her 1st heart attack was at 52. I am 54. I am slightly overweight. 5'5 160lbs. I eat a normal diet and exercise a couple of times a week. I am a non-drinker and non-smoker. Should I consult my primary care physician. Thank you.

You should go to your primary doctor , he /she will do blood test to check your cholesterol level and kidney function, check your heart, monitor your blood pressure .
