Is Blood Donation By A Person Suffering With Chlamydia Advisable?

Hello! I recently tested positive for Chlamydia and the doctor prescribed me some pills to take. I donate plasma regularly and I wanted to know if donating would affect the effectiveness of the medication, once it is in my system. Should I hold off on donating? If so, for how long?
