Is Banocide 100 Mg The Right Dosage For Having Eosinophils 13% For A 5 Year Old Child
my 5 year old daughter is diagonised with eosinophils 13% in CBC report. paediatrician has prescribed banocide syrup 100mg 5ml twice daily. her body weight is 17 kg. I need to know if banocide 100 mg is correct for her or is it banocide 50 mg recommended for children?

Eosinophilia is seen in allergies.
If its naso bronchial allergy, medications like Monteleukast will be needed for a minimum of 3 months.
For the question asked, the dose is right. You can give her 100mg, 5 ml twice a day. Dose is usually 1 mg/kg/day. It can be given upto 15mg/kg/day.
