Is Bandage With Straps Ideal For Scaphoid Bone Fracture?

hi, i have a scaphoid bone fracture. instead of using a cast for 6 weeks can i use a bandage with straps, which i can take off occasionally. that way i can keep it on for longer. Also a cast is very irritating because i cant take it off and also it gets itchy

After going through your I concluded that you are suffering from scaphoid fracture.You wants to use strapping instead of cast for 6 weeks . I want to say that it is dangerous idea.This fracture is known to cause nonunion.So your idea makes you to prone to nonunion. So you are advised to wear cast for 6 weeks.
