General & Family Physician, Dr. Priyanka's Response
Hi,
Based on your MRI diagnosis of a high-grade ACL tear and a bucket handle tear of the medial meniscus, it is likely that surgery will be the most effective treatment option to repair your knee and restore your ability to walk and stand without pain.
While alternative treatments such as Ayurveda may provide some relief, they are not likely to fully address the structural damage that has occurred in your knee. It is always important to consult with your orthopedic surgeon and get a second opinion if you have any concerns or doubts about the recommended treatment plan.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
