Is Anxiety Disorder Related With Panic Attacks Hyperventilation And Numbness Of The Body?

Hi I think I have anxiety disorder. Whenever I have a panic attack I start to hyperventilate and I can t control my breathing. My head, face, arms, and feet go numb and I can t feel anything. Sometimes it s just set off for no reason and I ll have a complete breakdown. Should I go to a doctor and get prescribed medicine or should I just wait it out. I am 16 and female.

Psychiatrist Dr. Shubham Mehta's  Response
Hello
Panic attacks can cause shortness of breath thus leading to tingling and numbness all over body.
I would suggest you to consult a psychiatrist asap before the problem becomes more severe and difficult to manage.
Thanks
