I had a prolonged cycle which lasted for 7-8 days , usually it gets over on the 5th day . consulted a doc was advised to take Texakind MF & Gynae C.V.P , during the purchase of medicines the pharmacist said its essential to take antibiotics also since the bleeding went on for a longer duration , in order to avoid any infection . Pls suggest , if yes then are any of the medicines (Texakind MF & Gynae C.V.P) an antibiotic
