Is All Liver Disease Fatal?

I am awaiting the results of a CT Scan to confirm/clarify a diagnosis of Liver Disease. I have been doing research on this but don t really sense there s a standard treatment plan. Am I right on that? Is Liver Disease something to be concerned about immediately (I am planning a trip to a third world country in the next week and am pondering my level of concern!)

Hi,

Not all liver diseases are fatal. Alcoholic liver disease and hepatitis-A are recoverable.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
