Is Alcohol Consumption Safe Upon Taking Exforge,Aspirin And Clopidogrel?

I am taking Concor 2,5 and Exforge 5/80mgs and low dose aspirin and clopidogrel 75 and a 20 mg Statin following a double setting in the LAD 5 weeks ago. I have been a consumer of moderate amounts of alcohol(beer and wine) most of my life. Can i continue to consume 4 standard drinks per day while on this array of medication? I am 66 yo.

Dear thanks for the question and welcome to hcm...

You should avoid alcohol as because the chronic alcohol intake is responsible for your illness and these medicines. Morever its very risky to take alcohol and aspirin tablet. Other tablets do not have any significant problem with alcohol. Alcohol increases acidity in stomach and aspirin also does the same. You may get blood in stomach or in vomit. So avoid alcohol. As aspirin is very important component of your treatment.

I hope my reply will benefit you. Please write to hcm for follow up queries. Hit a thanks. Thank you
