Is Air Travel Safe For COPD Patients?

Hi. I will be travelling by plane from Sydney to the Gold Coast QLD which is only 1 hour + 20 minute flight. I have COPD & I take Spiriva capsule daily as well as Seretide + Asmol puffers.....I do not take oxygen assistance via tanks etc. Will I be safe or do I need to take other medication as a precaution - I am just trying to cover all bases ! Thanks Al

Hi..
If your symptoms of COPD are controlled on this puffs and tablet, mostly you will not be having increase in symptoms in air..but still for safety take levosalbutamol inhaler for sos medicine if symptoms increase in travelling.
