General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to an inflammation of the vein or phlebitis.

I suggest taking anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen.

I also recommend doing an ultrasound of the leg for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
