General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
I have seen so many cases of dog bites and even rabies patient and studies very well on this subject . Mere scratching by a dog DON'T CAUSE RABIES , so didn't worry at all.
The rabies virus actually remain on the canine teeth of dog , while you were scratched , so there is no chance of getting rabies virus by you.
No need of any consultation.
For redness apply some antiseptic solution .
Good luck.
