Is A Painless Lump In My Right Breast A Matter Of Deep Concern?

I just notice that I have a lump below my right breast on my ribcage. I am not sure how long i have had it. The lump is only slightly raised and kind of flat about 1 1/2 inches in length. The lump doesn t cause any pain. Should I get this checked out?

Hi,

Thanks for writing to HCM.

You should definitely visit a doctor (surgeon) and get it examined without delay. Any breast lump should be considered seriously unless proved otherwise.
