Is A Low Dosage Of Ursodiol Effective?

hello, I am taking 300 mg of Ursodoil three times a day! In the last few months I find the my muscles are soooo sore! I have PBC. At first I thought it was Artheritis because I am 81 but it s not my joints it my muscles, do you think a lower dose would help? But still be effective ? I m 81 but I m so active I can t even work in my garden, paint a wall! Scub a rug. It s terrifying to think I have to sit quietly until I die!!!!

Being physically active helps to improve primary biliary cirrhosis symptoms. Muscle aches is likely side effect of ursodiol. Daily dose of ursodiol is calculated according to a body weight of the patient. it is about 13 -15 mg per body KG weight a day. But if the medicine is causing muscle aches for a long time, please consult with your doctor. Decreasing the dose of the medicine may help.
