Hello, I am 51 yrs old with 3 children. I had a uterine ablation 18 months ago. My periods resumed consistently 3 months later. The bleeding is less however the length of bleeding is averaging 10-12 days with lots of cramping and enlarged uterine and tenderness. I had an ultrasound last month and these are the findings. Please provide your opinion and if you think I should schedule a hysterectomy. UTERUS: 13.8 cm in craniocaudal axis. Continued heterogeneous       morphology and echogenicity, likely due to a number of intramural       fibroids. The largest discrete fibroid that can be measured       measures 3.6 cm in the anterior fundus.       ENDOMETRIAL COMPLEX: 8 mm in thickness. Unremarkable morphology       and echogenicity.       RIGHT OVARY: Measures 3.8 cm in greatest dimension. Several       cysts are noted, the largest measuring 2.1 cm in greatest       dimension, otherwise unremarkable morphology and echogenicity,       with normal blood flow, and without evidence of adnexal masses.       LEFT OVARY: Measures 5.1 cm in greatest dimension. A dominant       4.3 cm cyst is noted, otherwise unremarkable morphology and       echogenicity, with normal blood flow, and without evidence of       adnexal masses.       BLADDER: Limited evaluation of the bladder appears grossly       unremarkable.       OTHER: No free fluid is seen in the adnexae
