Is A Bleeding Nose In A Child A Cause For Concern?

my son burned himself on a cast iron frying pan which was on the counter by touching his side to it.. when he did that he screamed and yelled so loud that his nose started to run bright red blood.. I have since stopped the bleeding with rolling up cause into his nostrils to have them produce blood clots.. should I be worried about the fact of the bleeding nose with his stress.. He is only 12 yrs old.

Hello,

Since this bleeding from nose is just after screaming this is significant and requires medical evaluation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
