Is A USG Report With AGA Normohydramnios Left Posterolateral Grade-1 And High Lying Placenta Normal?
Good day i have done my ultrasound with the impression of single live untrauterine pregnancy in transverse lie presentation with a mean of 23 weeks and 3days by fetal biometry, AGA Normohydramnios Left posterolateral grade 1 high lying placenta Is this ok? Thanks looking forward for your response
Nothing to worry your report is normal. The placenta is graded on a scale of 0 to 3. The point of this system is to measure the maturity of the placenta and ensure that it is operating properly throughout your pregnancy.
The grade will indicate how calcified the placenta has become and whether or not it is able to supply the required oxygen and nutrients to the baby. Grade 0 is the status of the brand new placenta, and grade 3 is an aged placenta. May reach grade 1st 24-30 weeks.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
