General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Generic versions would also work as well as the brands. Usually, the pharmacies insist on the general version due to the insurance policies. So you may discuss this with your doctor, pharmacist, and insurance company to see if it is possible to receive the non-generic version.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
