Is Udiliv300 Effective For Severe Itching During Pregnancy?
My wife is in 30th week of pregnancy, taking 16 u insulin for gestational diabetes. Now she has severe itching, has sgpt and sgot more than 200. But no hepatitis virus or gallstone could be found. Doctor suggested Udiliv300 twice daily. Is that at all necessary/ beneficial? what are the side effects? Will it help in stopping itching?

Udiiliv 300 cintains ursodiol. It should be taken 3 times per day. cholestasis is a common problem during pregnancy that presents with itching.serum bile acid levels should be done. udiliv has been used successfully to normalize liver function and bile acid levels. it will help reduce the itching. side effects are minimal compared to the benefits.
