Is Trenaxa Safe To Take For Irregular Vaginal Bleeding?
Hello dr, Im 49 yr old i got my periods after 62 days. 4 days i just spotting and bleeding while passsing urine. And after that for 10 days heavy bleeding my dr asked me to take trenexa5oomg for three days. Is it safe to take the medication and will it affect my next nenstrual cycle. I took for a day and bleeding stopped should i complete 3 day course.
Hello dear Understand your concern Yes you can use trenaxa for bleeding. It does not affect the menstrual cycle. But remember it just reduce the amount of bleeding and does not cure the exact problem of bleeding. But you have to proper investigate for the excessive bleeding. Following are the causes : Dysfunction uterine bleeding, endometrial dysplasia, fibroid, adenomyosis, endometrial cancer. You have to go for following investigationsby consulting the gynecologist: full reproductive hormone profile, endometrial biopsy, USG scan. Management depends on the causes. Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
