Is Tamoxifen Safe And Effective In The Treatment Of Gynecomastia?

Hi, I am 18 and have gynecomastia.I heard doctors give tamoxifen for treatmen.Is it safe to use this chemical?It is used by breast cancer patients and I think that can be dangerous.Am I right or is it not a dangerous medicine?Is surgery safer and morr succesfull?

hi...u have doagnosed for gynaecomastia.
mostly in this age it is physiological.
u heard right that TAMOXIFEN used in treatment of it. and it helpful in 80-90% cases. it relieve pain also.
NO major side effects observed . only nausea ,headache , skin flush and in few cases sexual dysfunction observed.
