Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hello,i am 21 years old and my weight is 45kg with a height of 163cm.. my period was disturbed so my doc suggested to take the primolut-nor for 20 days to delay and arrange it.. i took it for 2 weeks, but recently i am noticing a tachycardia each time i take it..what do u suggest, can i stop it? is tachcardia resulting from this drug? i need u help plzzz
I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem. There can be tachycardia with norethisterone (prinlout) but if this tachycardia is till 140 beats a minute this is usually safe and there is nothing to worry about it but if this is more than this upper range then it is better to discuss it with your doctor. You also have to consider other causes like anxiety, dehydrationanemia.
I hope this answered your question, if you have more queries I am happy to answer you.
Regards, Dr. Muhammad Ahmad
