Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem. There can be tachycardia with norethisterone (prinlout) but if this tachycardia is till 140 beats a minute this is usually safe and there is nothing to worry about it but if this is more than this upper range then it is better to discuss it with your doctor. You also have to consider other causes like anxiety, dehydration anemia.

I hope this answered your question, if you have more queries I am happy to answer you.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammad Ahmad
