Is TB Medicine Neeful If Pcr Test, Monto Test Negative?

hi my name sukhjit age -31, weight 80, recently docter done lapro and hysteroscopy because of hydroselpix left fallopian tube my pcr report for endometrium negetive but still my gynocologist said i have to take tb medicine for 6 month please tell me if pcr test is negetive and monto test is also negetive still i need to have tb medicine or what i need to do?

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

You need to discuss with a pulmonologist (TB specialist) before starting on anti TB medications. Any medicine shouldn't be taken unless necessary and until favourable diagnosis has been reached. TB medicines re strong and taking that for 6 months without confirming diagnosis is debatable, in the light of negative PCR and mantoux test.
