Is Syndopa Effective In The Treatment Of Syringomyelia?
Hello Doctor, My mother 80 yrs has been operated 12 yrs ago for syringomyelia and has been on Baclofen since then. now our doctor has prescribed Syndopa Plus but having that makes her depressed and also worsens sudden involuntary body jerks, spasms and cramps. Is syndopa also used for managing symptoms of syringomyelia ?

I have read through your question and would like to tell you that syringomyelia causes obstruction to the normal flow of CSF and if it causes severe symptoms like pain, or restriction of movement s surgery is advised by the doctor.
