Is Sunolut Advisable To Avoid Heavy Menstrual Bleeding?

Dear doctor, my problem is i having a heavy menstrual. my doctor said my lining is thick. i am taking sunolut to stop my menstrual. i took five day my menstrual stop and come again after three day. should i take again sunolut after five my menstrual? and how many day should i take sunolut to balance my hormone. thank you, best regards debbie

I had gone through the question and understand your concern.
See , you can take sunolut (norethisterone) tablet as long as you want to delay your period.

You should take sunolut tab 5mg thrice daily, commencing 3 days prior to due date. After you stop taking that tablet, you will get your period within 5-7 days.

Some side effects like nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramp, irregular spotting, breast tenderness may develop in next cycle if you continue above medication for long time.
