Is Suminat Or Vasograin Drug Effective For Migraine?
I have been suffering from migraines for almost 15 years. I get it at least once month and lasts for 3 days .I have started taking suminat 50 whenever it begins. However I get temporary relief and take it again once I feel it coming on. What are the side effects of suminat . I have also tried vasograine. Does vasograine also have side effects? Which is safer suminat or vasograine?
Hello I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Sumatriptans( Sumanit) is clinically proven to be better than ergotamines (vasograins) for treatment of migraine in effectiveness and alleviating symptoms of nausea. It must be very clear that all the medications have both effects and side effects. Prescribing a medication is task of balancing the risk and benefits of the drug and bring out the best outcome with lowest side effects possible. Sumanit causes weakness or numbness of limbs, vision disturbances and should be taken with caution in patients with blood circulation disorders. If the symptoms of migraine does not appear to subside with the current dose of Sumanit, consult the prescribing to adjust the dosage. Hope your concern is answered. Thank you.
