Is Protinex The Right Medicine To Gain Weight?

Dear doctor My daughter is studying 1st mbbs, good in studies but she is very lean, wants to put on weight, now I have started giving her protinex, please advice me which supplement can I give her she is having only milk for breakfast,

I can understand your concern for your daughter. Can you please tell me what is the height and weight of your daughter??

I would like to tell you that protinex powder contains mainly protein and its helpful specially during growing phase. You can give protinex powder to your daughter, but only that will not suffice to gain weight.

She will have to take diet rich in protein, vitamins and minerals, like green leafy vegetables, citrous fruits, milk and milk products, etc. She will have to take a help of dietician and if needed then gym trainer may also be helpful. But don't use more of such products to gain weight, because it have its own side effects on long term use, so rather try natural ways to increase weight.
