Is Postinor 2 Safe After Each Unprotected Intercourse?

Hello doctor, I had Sex about aweek ago and took postinor 2 like 24 hours after I had Sex and the second tablet was taken 12hours after I took the 1st tablet. I just had Sex. With my boyfriend now I we realized that the condom he use broke in-between Sex, is it advicesable to use postinor 2 again? Hope it s not dangerous and if yet pls what are the side effect

I understand your concern.
Postinor 2 is an emergency contraceptive pill. It needs to be taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse to prevent unwanted or accidental pregnancy.
What you have done is right by taking 2 doses of Postinor at 12 hours apart. In case you have intercourse again without protection within 24 hours, there is no need to take another dose.
It is advisable to use properly other means of protection like condom and spermicidal agents in case you have intercourse till you get your periods.
The pill would protect against pregnancy by causing withdrawal bleeding within 3 weeks from the day of intake of the pill.
In case bleeding does not happen by 3 weeks, you need to take urine pregnancy test and seek medical attention immediately.
