I have just been recently diagnosed with ulcers in stomach and small intestines. I am in serve pain. MY DOCTOR HAS BEEN GIVING ME HYYDROCODONE TO TAKE 5/325. THIS MED DOES NOT HELP WITH THE PAIN WHEN GETS REALLY SERVE. I WAS WONDERING IF TAKIN PERCIETS WOOD BE A BETTER DRUG TO TAKE WHEN IT FLARES UP TO HE POINT I CAN NOT GET OUT OF BED. I HAV TAKEN ONE AND THEY SEEM TO HELP BETTER THAN THE HYDROS. IS THE TREATMENT FOR THESE TYPES OF ULCERS OK TO TAKE WITH PECICETS. ITS LIKE THIS DOC DOES NOT BELIEVE I AM HURTING THIS SERVELY.
Dear I can understand your concern I would like to inform you that if you are diagnosed with stomach ulcer then the best drug for you is proton pump inhibitors such as pantoprazole or rabeprazole . Along with this certain antacids are also given . duration of therapy is most of time up to 6 weeks but can be extended to more depending upon your response to treatment .For percocet I would like to suggest you that this can aggrevates the symptoms and may harm you . So discus this with your physician and get proper treatment . If you have any other concerns please feel free to message me . Thanks for contacting HCM .
