Is Pause MF Advisable For Painful, Heavy And Prolonged Menstruation?
Hi doctor , Its my 16th day of period but still i am having heavy bleeding. I have severe PCOD and a little thyroid problem. i am checking this with my doctor regularly. but this time the period is very painful with heavy clotting, heavy bleeding and severe stomach ache. Due to so many days bleeding i am feeling very weak also. Can i take Pause mf as i have taken this in past and it worked for me. please suggest me the dosage and is it safe it take this ?
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM Pauce MF being an antifibrinolytic may help control bleeding. However, it may not treat the cause of the problem.I will suggest you see a gynecologist for examination and investigation.Possible causes of your problem may include: -Hormonal/ovarian imbalances including PCOD -pelvic masses -PID/STIs -pregnancy and related complications. I will advise you see your Gynecologist for evaluation.A pelvic ultrasound and an infectious/STI work-up will be very useful in your evaluation. If no causes found, hormonal works may be requested. Hope this will help Best regards
