General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Ondem is not the right medicine for stomach infection. It is used to treat nausea and vomiting caused associated with a number of conditions including gastroenteritis.

Based on the history your baby seems to have developed dehydration for which she needs intravenous fluids in the hospital.

She also needs appropriate antibiotics to treat stomach infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
