Is Ofloxacin Safe During Conception?
Please is Ofloxacin safe during conception? I did a transvaginal scan and the doctor said I will be ovulating in 2-3 days time. but I have vaginal candida and Streptococcus Iinfection ( through HVS & Mcs). He gave me Ofloxacin and Nystatin insert. Is it safe???

It is not safe during conception. Ofloxacin should be avoided during pregnancy because of concerns about cartilage toxicity in the growing baby. Ask your doctor for an alternate effective but a safer antibiotic to treat vaginal infection.
