Is Novelon A Good Substitute Of Diane 35?

I am diagnosed with a cyst on my right ovary and for two months and seven days have taken a tablet called as endosis. Then my dermatologist has asked to change the tablet to Diane 35 but I was scared to take the tablet without the consent of my gynaecologist so I met another gynaecologist and he has asked me to stop endosis and given me another tablet novelon . So is novelon a substitute to Diane 35 .. that was prescribed by my dermatologist as it can treat acne hairfall and the cyst together!?

Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
*You were advised tab. Endosis &tab. Novelan fir acne.... Both of them are oral contraceptives having both female fertility hormones ... they do not have any effect on Acne.
* On the contratry... Dyne 35 has two hormones .. one female hormone to maintain female charactors &another hormone to appose male hormone... which can cause acne &facial hairs in females.Thus when given to properly selected patients Dyne 35 treats Acne very well.
-So Novelan is not a substitute foe Dyne 35.
* At the same time all the three Medicines (Endisis,Novelan or Dyne 35) do not have any relieving effect on ovarian cyst.
Small ovarian cysts ( less than 10 mm) are observed for automatic resolution &If there not reduced within 3-6 months/size goes on increaseling /it becomes complicated.... surgical removal the answer
