The best measures for PCOS is to lose weight if you are overweight by means of low carbohydrate diet and moderate exercise. Stress worsens this condition and so relax and in fact try not to get worked about getting pregnant. The medication Normoz prescribed is supportive medicine and mainly decreases the oxidative stress in the body. They are not going to directly cause ovulation or regularizes menstrual cycle, which are the main problems in PCOS. You may require further assistance by drugs in regularizing menstrual cycle (if it is irregular) by use of birth control pills and induction of ovulation by use of Metformin and/or Clomifen. HSG is suggested by doctor to know about the patency of your Fallopian tubes. You can plan and get it done at a later date.
