Is Monistat Advisable For Severe Menstrual Bleeding?

I took Monistat 1 for severe yeast infection (from 10 days on high powered antibiotics for food poisoning) 2 nights ago, but started a severe menstrual period - so lots came out. I am not using tampons. Can I take another Monistat 1 tonight? - It s a little better but not much, & I have to fly on Sunday - so I need it to be gone.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, 'Monistat' could be for fungal infection and not for the menses bleeding, if this is the menorrhagia then you need to wait for some time, if the bleeding does not stop then may needs some investigations, but most of the time this comes around on its own, hope this information helps, take care.
I find this answer helpful
