Is Minoz ER 65 And Vizylac The Right Medicine To Get Rid Off Pimples?

Minoz ER 65 and vizylac is prescribed to my sister by a skin doctor for pimple issues.. I'm a boy 18+ and Can I take the same prescription? I'm having the same type of pimples as my sister has!
Or it will cause a bad effect on me.. Is there any fact that this prescription is only for girls..?

As per your complain pimples can occur due to causes like :
-Clogged pores.
-Oily skin.
-Hormonal Imbalances.
-Bacterial infection.
-Inflammation
-Excess sun exposure etc.

The medication given to your sister that is Minoz ER that is antibiotic Minocycline and Vizylac is Vitamin B and probiotic lactobacillus combination and is suitable for treatment of acne or pimples, but you should take it only after consulting a Dermatologist as the dosage and requirement of the medications can be assessed only after a proper clinical examination and any investigations if needed..

You should consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated at times you can be advised only topical treatment and oral medication might not be needed..

He can advise you to wash your face with Salicylic acid containing facewash..
Apply topical ointment containing Clindamycin and Benzoyl Peroxide..
Apply retinoids like Adapelene gel in thin layer on pimples at night time..
Do cool compresses over face..
Exfoliate your face twice a week to unclog the pores and remove dead skin..
You can also apply a sunscreen lotion when exposed to sun..
Oral Medication like antibiotics like Clindamycin or Minocycline and retinoid like Isotretinoin can also be advised
Avoid oily food.
Take more of green leafy vegetables and fruits..
You can also go for treatment like Microdermabrasion and chemical peeling..
