Is Metrogyl Safe To Take While Breastfeeding?

Hello Dr, Just wanted to ask that I am taking Metrogyl 400 thrice a day from last 2 days and with this I m taking Ornof and Drotin as well to cure loose motions. I have 2 months old baby by C section. I breastfeed her. So, is it safe to take all these medicines???

Hi I think you should not take metrogyl and ornof both. Ornof contains ofloxacin and ornidazole. Ornidazole is similar to metronidazole. So, no need to take both. These are safe in breastfeeding. So, don't worry about it. Hope it helps.
