Is Mensovit Tablet The Right Medicine For Abortion?

f s,hI am having 5 months baby. now I missed my periods.so we tested, we got pregnant test positive. I got last my period on June 24th. my husband brought me mensovit tablet to abort. I had taken it on Aug 6th and 7th.but there is no result till now. what to do..plz suggest us

Mensovit is a medication which is indicated to be taken to regulate menstrual cycle. It is not known to cause abortion.

For abortion by taking pills, you need to take mifepristone group of drug. This is possible only if your pregnancy is under 12 weeks. Also, abortion by pills should be under medical supervision. In case of any emergency, manual evacuation needs to be done to ensure all the products of conception are completely removed. Hence, it would be better to consult with a gynecologist for clinical examination and for prescribing the drugs required. A baseline ultrasound scan of abdomen should be done.
