Is Meloxicam Advisable For Frequent Migraine Headaches?

I am 80 years old with frequent migraine headaches....my doctor took me off Butalbital (1 pill a day usage) and put me on Meloxicam (1 pill a day 15 mg). I am worried about all the warnings with the latter, and few if any on the former that are published. Can you give me an opinion? Thank you. Thomas Martin, Oregon
