Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a inguinial hernia surgery last march.I knew Ihad a sciatic nerve that has been continually hurting me from my lower back that goes all the way down my leg, now on both sideds.I am scheduled for an MRI on Monday November 30.Is it safe?Or could this possibly damage the mesh?
Hi, MRI might be advised for having lower back pain. There is no harm if MRI is done. It has no adverse side effect on mesh put during inguinal hernia surgery. Ok and take care.
