Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Loette tablet is a combined hormonal contraceptive drug. Irregular menstruation due to thyroid issues (hypothyroidism) should be initially treated with thyroxine supplementation. Combined hormonal drug therapy is used to regularize menses but it is temporary. Your doctor gave you 5 days this to get a menses after stopping it. You have to take the dose he/she advised. Then you will get a period within the next 3 days after stopping it. One tablet per day won't be that effective but it is possible to get break through bleeding also. If you not getting then consult your gynecologist for detailed examination. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
